Big Bear has always held a special place in our hearts—a peaceful retreat just a short drive for our friends and family from LA, OC and San Diego, yet it feels a world away.

It all started when I re-visited in 2021 after a decade, something shifted, the city girl in me fell in love with the mountains. The crisp mountain air, the quiet whispering of the tall pines -- it rejunvenated me in a way I didn’t know I needed. That trip sparked a dream: to bring new life to a vintage A-frame by blending rustic charm with modern touches, along with hidden details meant to surprise and delight. And after 6 mos of labor, BabyBearHaus was born.

Our friends and family loved it so much, I was encouraged to restore more cabins with the same hands-on love and thoughtfulness. What started as a personal escape grew into a shared journey with friends and family… and now, with you.
